In 2026 the site was migrated from a Django / PostgreSQL / Nginx / Docker stack to Hugo, a static site generator. The migration was performed with the assistance of Claude (Opus 4.6, 1M context), Anthropic's AI assistant, operating via Claude Code. Claude wrote the content migration scripts, converted Django templates to Hugo layouts, adapted the Zotero and Mastodon integrations, and configured the build pipeline. The look and feel of the site was preserved.
